GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — Kingsbury Grade was closed for several hours Sunday afternoon and evening after an RV crashed near Tramway Drive on the Tahoe side after 3 p.m. The RV caught fire and the fire spread to surrounding wildland, though it was quickly contained. Both the driver and a passenger in the RV were transported for medical treatment.

Expect clear skies today and a high of 96 degrees.

The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch effective for Tuesday evening extending into Wednesday evening. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible during the watch. Otherwise high temperatures should hang around in the mid- to high-90s all week and into Labor Day weekend.

We’ll be wrapping up a busy weekend in sports this morning, so keep an eye out for updates.

That’s a full lid for now. Take care out there and have a great day.
