GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — Kingsbury Grade was temporarily closed Wednesday night after a hit and run damaged a power pole at Granite Springs Road. Power was knocked out to more than 2,000 NV Energy customers at Stateline, according to a report from The Record-Courier.

A flash flood warning for eastern Douglas County issued late Wednesday afternoon expired with little incident. There is a 20 percent chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. today with a high near 88 degrees in the forecast. Look for clear skies and highs in the low 90s this weekend, starting Friday.

The final round of Dessert Wars 2017 ends at 6 p.m. this evening, so make sure to vote if you haven’t already. The ballot can be found here.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day.
