GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — There is a pretty good haze over Carson Valley this morning of of 8:30 a.m., tailing in from the Detwiler Fire in Mariposa County, California.

For the moment, though, air quality in the Valley is still registering in the “good” range. We’ll be keeping an eye on any changes there through the rest of the day.

Smoke notwithstanding, we’re  looking at clear skies today with a high of 92 degrees and wind gusts up to 30 mph. We’re once again under a Red Flag Fire Warning this afternoon and evening, so avoid spark-triggering activities outside.

There will be delays of 15-30 minutes on Kingsbury Grade today as crews remove some trees encroaching power lines near the roadway. Read more on that here.
