Victim In Saturday Hit-And-Run Identified

MINDEN, Nev. – On July 1, 2017 at around 5 a.m., the Nevada Highway Patrol and Douglas County
Sheriff’s Office arrived at Fremont Ave south of Johnson Lane to investigate an apparent hit-and-run of a pedestrian.

The victim has been identified as Roberto Palomar-Espinoza, 21 years of Gardnerville.

The investigation is ongoing. NHP and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office want to speak to
any witnesses or anyone who knows information about this crime.
