GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — A Red Flag Fire Warning will be in effect from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. today as winds between 15-25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph are expected to accompany humidity levels between 6 and 14 percent.

Outdoor activities that can cause a spark near dry vegetation, such as target shooting, campfires or yard work are discouraged.

Temperatures this week should be slightly milder than last, with a high near 90 degrees expected today. High 80s and low 90s are in line for most afternoons this week before climbing back up to the mid to high 90s this weekend.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day.
