Baseball: Manogue Overcomes Early Deficit To Beat Douglas

MINDEN, Nev. — Things started out well for the Douglas High School baseball team Saturday morning, but Bishop Manogue came back in a big way, winning 15-4 to move Douglas to 2-9 overall and 0-6 in league play on the year.

Haydn Brown, Logan Fencl, Spencer Trivitt and Zach Davies each drove in a run for Douglas.

Tomas Leitenbauer, Cale Kynett, Davies, Brown and Trivitt each had a hit as well.

Blake Murray struck out four in three innings of work and Hunter Simpson struck out another two.

Douglas travels to Spanish Springs Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. for its next game.
