RENO, Nev. — The Douglas High Baseball team fell into deficits of three or more runs at three different spots in the game, found ways to scrape back into the game three times and still left Manogue in search of its first league win Thursday afternoon.
Manogue prevailed 11-10 after building leads of 3-0 through two innings, 6-2 through four innings and 10-6 through five innings.
Blake Murray and Haydn Brown each collected two hits in the loss, Zach Davies drove in three runs and Kaleb Foster and Trevor Tierney each drove in two. Foster, Haden Keller and Brown each had a double and Brown also had a triple.
Douglas dropped to 2-8 overall and 0-5 in league play. The Tigers will host Bishop Manogue Saturday, March 21 at 11 a.m. in Minden.
