GARDNERVILLE, Nev., February 12, 2015 – Carson Valley wildlife photographer and CVT contributor John T. Humphrey has 10 photos (he’s taking 11 up today) hanging by the front elevator on the fourth floor of the Nevada State Legislature during this session. A big congratulations to him.
His work is also on exhibit at the Carson Valley Arts Council and a reception is scheduled for Feb. 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. You can also view or purchase his work at http://www.akawolf.com.
Carson Valley Fastpitch (formerly Carson Valley Girls Softball), will conduct sign-ups for players between the ages of 4 and 18 for the 2015 seasons tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Douglas County Community and Senior Center across from Lampe Park. Cost for ages 4-6 is $80 for the season and $85 for ages 7 and older. A final sign-up date will be held Feb. 21 from 12-4 p.m. also at the community center.
