Douglas County Historical Society Seeks Help Replacing Historic Flag Pole

Staff Reports The Douglas County Historical Society is seeking help restoring the historic flagpole in front of the old Douglas County High School (now the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center). The strong winds earlier this month, which gusted up to 90 mph, caused the foundation to crack and allow the pole to tip dangerously close to crashing into the building.
