Minden, NV 89423 Gardnerville, NV 89410
The Town of Gardnerville has collected donations for the Annual Carson Valley Food Drive for past three years. This year Gardnerville Manager, Tom Dallaire approached Minden Manager, Jenifer Davidson and suggested the two Towns work together with the goal of maximizing donations this holiday season.
“We are fortunate to live in two wonderfully generous Towns. When Tom approached me with the idea to partner I knew it was the right thing to do. Both Tom and I are happy to see our staff taking ownership of the process to collect donations and give back to the community we are proud to serve. We hope this year is the most successful donation collection year yet.”—Jenifer Davidson
“The Carson Valley Inn hosts the News 2 Food Drive from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and residents can also deliver their donations to the drop off location. This food dive has consistently brought in over 100,000 pounds of food to the Food Closet and is a worthwhile event. Town Staff is excited to be part of it.”—Tom Dallaire
