MINDEN, Nev., November 25, 2014 — Molly (Long) Turner, founding owner of a local skin care clinic in town 13 years ago, has moved back to Gardnerville and opened shop in Minden; “BrowZing”, a waxing boutique specializing in eyebrow shaping.
After marrying, she followed her husband to Boston, Massachusetts where he attended Harvard Medical School. While there, she honed her love and skill for eyebrow shaping at Bella Sante on Newbury Street, one of Boston’s top day spas. A number of celebrities, as well as wives of the Boston Red Sox players, chose Bella Sante for their skin care needs.
Her family later moved to Washington where Turner opened an eyebrow waxing boutique serving the Tri-Cities.
“I fought hard to get back here,” she said with a laugh.
Soon after settling her children into their new schools and life in the valley, Turner began searching for the right location for her boutique. She said she knew the spot was for her when she walked into what would become a little jewel box; inviting, cozy.
She said she looks forward to listening to her clients’ wants while incorporating personality and face shape to design a beautiful brow.
“Eyebrows frame the face,” she said. “Done right, they can make you look younger, brighter, and well rested.”
BrowZing uses a specialty wax which does not adhere to the skin, providing a more enjoyable experience for all of her clients and allowing some who think that tweezing is their only option to enjoy the clean look that waxing can provide.
Other waxing services are available. Services by appointment.
BrowZing is offering 50 percent off of your first eyebrow waxing when you mention this article through Dec. 17, 2014. Gift certificates are also available.
BrowZing is located near Douglas High School inside the Cambridge Court Building at 1692 County Road, Suite E, Minden Nevada 89423. Call 509-396-8243 or visit BrowZing’s Facebook page for more information.
