Main Street Gardnerville Seeks Applicants To Fill Board Vacancy

Main Street Gardnerville Board Member Kenneth Garber has announced that he is retiring his seat in January 2015 with the Main Street Gardnerville’s Board of Directors.
The Main Street Board is now seeking candidates to fill this upcoming vacancy.

The person chosen will serve until June 2016, at which point a request can be made to remain on the Board for a three year term.

Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2014. Applications should be sent to Main Street Gardnerville, 1407 Hwy 395 N, Gardnerville, NV 89410.  Board applications are available both at the Main Street Gardnerville offices and on line at

Applications will be reviewed and a recommendation of appointment will be made by the Main Street Gardnerville Board of Directors at their regularly scheduled
meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 6 pm. All applicants are encouraged to attend if their schedule permits.

The Main Street Four-Point Approach is based on simultaneous work in the areas of Organization, Promotion, Design, and District Vitality, with emphasis on grass roots volunteerism and public participation.  Main Street Gardnerville is a community based self-help program partnering with various members of the community to revitalize the downtown.  Even though Main Street Gardnerville focuses strictly on the downtown district, the program benefits the entire community and surrounding areas.

The Main Street Gardnerville Board of Directors meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Gardnerville Town Hall, 1407 Highway 395.
