GARDNERVILLE, Nev., November 18, 2014 — Once again the Carson Valley Museum & Culture Center is preparing to transform into a Winter Wonderland. Its annual Holiday Gala will fill the museum with gingerbread houses, elaborately decorated Christmas Trees and delicious cookies. The Gallery of Trees, a part of the museum’s annual fundraising activities, consists of exquisitely themed tress decorated by various service groups, clubs and individuals from our area. Now in its tenth year, the Gingerbread House Decorating Contest, helps evoke a memory of classic American Traditions. The Holiday Gala begins with a Cookie Walk and Selfies with Santa, and will concluded with an open house just in time for guests to enjoy the Parade of Light from the museum’s front lawn.
