Today’s weather forecast, brought to you by Designing With Nature Landscaping, looks quite similar to yesterday’s, with highs in the low 60s and clear skies. There is a chance of rain looking Wednesday night and on into Thursday, which is worth keeping an eye on. That should give way back to clear skies by Friday.

In today’s calendar, brought to you by k2 Pilates, the Douglas County Public Library hosts Toddler Storytime (18 months to 3 years old) at 10:30 a.m. today. Preschool storytime (ages 3 to 5) will be at 11:15 a.m. today. The Minden Library is located at 1625 Library Lane.  Visit douglas.lib.nv.us, or call 775-782-9841 for more information.

Palo Verde won the play-in game to the girls soccer state tournament Monday evening, meaning Douglas will face Arbor View at 6 p.m. in Henderson on Friday. Coronado will take on Palo Verde on the opposite side of the bracket.

That’s a full lid for this morning. Take care out there and have a great day.
