The Douglas High girls soccer team paved the way into its fourth regional championship game in the past six seasons with a 4-1 win over Spanish Springs Thursday night at Carson High School.
The Tigers will take on Galena Saturday at noon at Damonte Ranch High School for the regional title. Galena defeated Bishop Manogue in a penalty kick shootout Thursday night after the teams played to a scoreless tie through regulation and overtime.

McKenna Kynett added a goal off a header in the 25th minute after she was able to position herself in front of the net on a crossing pass.
Kynett scored again on a blast to the right post to put Douglas up 3-0 before halftime.
The Tigers wrapped up their scoring on a breakaway goal from Lexi Von Schottenstein in the second half.
Spanish Springs got on the board with a late goal after many of Douglas’ starters had been pulled from the game.
