Packed house greets Gardnerville’s Movies in the Park opener

The ninth season-opener of “Movies in the Park” was a huge success in Heritage Park withFrozen.”

We had quite a crowd! Everyone enjoyed the warm evening. Bounce N Play was there for the kids along with vendors who provided snacks of all types. The Astronomical Society of Nevada, Carson Valley Chapter was on hand with telescopes for attendees to view the moon and the few stars that came out from behind the clouds.

If you missed out on the fun join us on June 27 for “Percy Jackson & the Sea of Monsters”; or July 18, “Despicable Me 2;” and the final movie of the summer season on August 8 is “Back to the Future.” Please consult our website for rating info. Even though all of the movies are rated PG, some movies are not appropriate for all audiences.
