Douglas High breaks ground on STEM building
Douglas High broke ground on its new Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics two-story building Thursday afternoon during a brief ceremony in front of the school including school board members, district staff and administration and representatives from Turner Construction and H&K Architects.
The STEM Building is part of a greater remodel on campus that includes work on the school’s 500 building, commons and main office area and main gym that will continue over the next two years.
