Dog scouts troop donates oxygen kit to East Fork Fire & Paramedics

Special to the Carson Valley Times

Chief Tim Soule and several firefighters of the East Fork Fire and Paramedics Districts accepted an oxygen kit to help save pets harmed in structure fires in Douglas County from  The Silver Paws, Troop 220 of the Dog Scouts of America on Tuesday.

Terry Cuyler and her dog Trace, and Linda Hibbard and her dog Brindy were on hand to make the presentation.

The troop raised money by placing Yaff bars for sale in local veterinarian offices. There were three sizes in the kit and Trace demonstrated how a dog would wear it.
