Former Douglas High standout and reigning two-time regional Player of the Year Hunter Myers scored his first collegiate points Saturday night as Harvard claimed the Great Alaskan Shootout tournament title.
He hit a 3-pointer and grabbed a defensive rebound as Harvard upended TCU 71-50 to win the tournament title. Harvard defeated Denver and Wisconsin-Green Bay earlier in the week to reach the title game. The championship was the second time Myers has seen the floor during a game this year.
Harvard improved to 7-1 on the young season and next faces Northeastern and Boston University this week.
