Gardnerville, NV (October 11, 2013) – Downtown Gardnerville’s newest boutique, Polka Dots is hosting its grand opening with a week-long party, beginning Monday, October 14th offering the first 50 shoppers a sweet treat. Chocolate tea will be served through the week and shoppers will have the opportunity to register for a $100 candy gift basket. The grand opening will conclude Saturday, October 19th, the same day its sister store, Fresh Ideas celebrates its 19th anniversary with its annual birthday celebration featuring champagne and savory snacks.
Boutique owner Jodi Branson opened Fresh Ideas in 1994 and is pleased with the warm reception the Carson Valley has given her latest venture: “The town has really embraced Polka Dots. People are excited for a new place to shop with unique sweets and retail and they appreciate our made in America inventory.” She continued, “I am looking forward to the grand opening. It’s fun to see the reactions when shoppers come in for the first time and experience the vivid atmosphere and one-of-a-kind gifts. It will be a special end to the week with our 19th anniversary celebration at Fresh Ideas.”
