The Aspen fire, burning in the Sierra National Forest at the Mammoth Pool Reservoir in California (between Fresno and Mammoth Lakes) will continue to give us a good dose of smoke today. The fire has burned more than 21,000 acres since it started during the lightning storm July 22. Steep terrain in the area has slowed containment of the fire.
The Minden Farmers Market is tonight at 4 p.m., running through the evening.
