We trade in the weekend’s heat advisory today for a hazardous weather outlook through the entire week.
After reaching up over 100 degrees the past two days (we saw 103 on our thermometer here), the high today is still projected at 97.
A 30 percent chance of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall is forecasted to move in after 1 p.m. Near the thunderstorms, wind gusts could reach as high as 50 mph.
Scattered thunderstorms are possible Tuesday through Sunday as well, again with heavy rain and strong winds possible.
Highs throughout the week are projected in the low 90s, with the storms set to roll in sometime between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. each day.
Overnight lows will start out in the mid 60s tonight, before dipping back into the 50s later in the week.
