Here are three facts I will absolutely bet you haven’t heard before:
1. In shopping for the Wizard’s wardrobe for The Wizard of Oz, the movie’s wardrobe department wound up coincidentally purchasing a coat from a thrift store that had previously belonged to L. Frank Baum, the author of Wizard of Oz.
2. Niagara Falls is in a constant state of recession. For many years, the rim wore down about 2.5 feet per year due to the millions of gallons of water rushing over it. Recent attempts to control the flow of water have decreased the yearly erosion to one foot per year.
3. In Oklahoma, dogs must have a permit – signed by the local mayor – in order to congregate on private property in groups of three or more.
